Artist Statement

Tiger Noetic is the pseudonym of the artist Marina Lyakh created with a rap name generator. Artist works in various artistic techniques such as ceramics, photography, watercolor, oil pastel, gouache and mixed media. The foundation of her art is the metaphor of wholeness - the artist draws inspiration from the imperfect beauty of simple things, filling everyday life with noetic ready-mades.

Marina calls her artistic direction "Implecolorism" (from the Latin "implecolori" - full-color), based on intuition, vibrant colors and fullness of life. It is a way to capture and express her life where the viewer acts as an inhabitant of Plato's cave, but in a more life-affirming manner.
